1990-2008:  Established Ginger-Lou's Studio, a home-based business involving hand-painted china and tiles for backsplashes, personalized art prints, custom jewelry design and fabrication, primitive metalworking, fiberarts and clay and mixed media creations.

Prior to 1990: Worked as a freelance commercial artist, wrote and illustrated 16 published children's books, taught art to children through the public school system, day camps, After-School programs, homeschooling associations and community programs; displayed and sold art originals through several  local open-air art festivals. 

                    

Ginger-Lou is primarily a self-taught folk artist, but over the years of her involvement with art she has attended numerous workshops and courses in various mediums.
